A lifeline

I had a dream today
Of a life and what may
Have been
Had I not died that day
A lifeline uninterrupted
In the flow of time

I had a dream today
Of a life lived to the fullness
That was open to me
Walking a life feeling free
Feeling comfortable to be
In the flow of time

I had a dream today
Of a life lived by me
No fear only me living fully
Greeting each day
As it was meant to be
In the flow of time

I had a dream today
Of a life never to be
Something gifted to those
Walking next to me
Never knowing the gift to be
In the flow of time

Open link night

Calmer seas

I am drifting through
A sea of tranquility and mist
Trusting myself to this life raft
Composed of kind words and gestures
Has kept me afloat
In This dream of a life that is full
Simple things and Pleasantries
Those same kind words and thoughtful gestures
Remain upon awakening from that dream
Hopefully those are enough of a
Trade wind to soon carry me to
Calmer seas

What is

What reflection does it see

What is the pathos of evil
Under what guise
Does it toil
Laboring long into
The night
Does it make
Pipe bombs and chemical
Weapons to take out
Its neighbors
While shooting movie goers
Or is it the man
In the nice shirt
With perfect teeth
Offering you the five
Year adjustable rate
Rock bottom low
Home refi loan
Under what pathos
Does evil lie

Hello my blogging world…
I have had people that follow my blog ask about my health, and I wanted to give an update. My lungs are still hurting and causing me to have fits of coughing. At times it feels as if I am drowning. This weekend while with a group of people I found myself not knowing where everyone had gone, and I wandered for about twenty minutes, confused and disoriented. I told the people I was with about it but I didn’t say how much it scared me. Had I not been so familiar with the area I was in I could have been truly lost. Never in my life have I experienced anything like that. I am functioning well for the most part, and it is deceptive. I think I am better than I actually am and my body lets me know. The doctors say that with time and medication this will be but a memory, but that is hard to get a grasp on while struggling to breathe.

Nuclear winter

Bleak and glowing

The weather forecast is
Bleak and glowing,
Burning winds with blowing bits
Of the cities now dust.
Having a season or…three
Of nuclear winter
Is good for you and me
Oh, you suffer from
Seasonal depression?
That’s too bad
I wish for you
That there was another
Color of sky to be had
The new back to school
Fall line of coveralls and
Lead lined suits
Aren’t too bad
They are saying grey over
Hunters orange will not be
Just another fad

It's Monday....not dooms day

Beginning again

There is a magical point
In time
While floating through
The air
The whole world resolves
So clear

And time stands itself
So still
Everything in its place
Just right
At times like these
Oh yes

It becomes very clear
Yes crystal
That no matter how hard
I try
I have no chance
At all

Of stopping the pain
Beginning again
