Haven't had the spark

Haven't had the spark for a while. So, no blog posts on a regular basis. Not sure what the problem is...maybe it is an issue of not getting in front of a computer often enough. Whatever the cause I miss it, that spark. I feel alive when I am writing and the words are flowing out of my fingertips.

A friend, Ben Ditmars, asked if I would answer a few questions about my writing so here goes.

1) What am I working on
Well, I have a few irons in the fire. one thing I am working on is a fiction fantasy piece about a boy and his coming into his own through the forced memories of his parents past. That particular piece is a collaboration with the same Ben that asked me these questions.

2) How does my work differ from others in the genre?
I think the difference is in the collaboration with Ben, he is an insanely creative person.

3) Why do I write what I do?
Simply said, It feels right.

4) How does my writing process work?
I get inspired by something and, Bam, I have to put finger to keyboard. Usually I edit as I write, so when I finish typing the piece is where I want it. Of course I have to look for spelling errors but who needs spelling anyway....

There you go, a short window into my process

  1. I haven't had the spark AND I've been moving across the country. So, I understand. I liked reading this post though.
