Shard
I
found a piece of my soul today
I
picked it up then put it down
And started
to walk away
I
stopped before I went too far
I
walked back to my soul shard
Picked
it back up and wondered
Why I
had set it down in the first place
Shiny
and jagged it laid on my hand
I
found a piece of my soul today
It sheared
off the day you went away
Where it
has been all this time
Waiting
for me to be whole enough
I
found a piece of my soul today
It’s
been missing since you went away
Thought
about it for a moment
Put it
back down and Ran away
