Left the world to the sun





I took a trip today
no one said goodbye
but I went anyway

I left the world to the sun today
I took a trip
and I went away

The sun shone in the sky
he showed up
but didnt stay

I went on a trip today
I touched the sun
then was away

I saw a shadow of myself
flowing behind me
tried to leave it behind on my way

I left the world to the sun today
Took just one look
then was away
